Breaking News: The Dauphin Island Regatta has officially been re-scheduled due to weather. There is a small craft advisory for Saturday, April 29th. This information is direct from the Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce and Dauphin Island’s mayor, Jeff Collier as of 12pm on Friday, April 28th. No rescheduled date has been announced yet.
But don’t fret… there’s still so much to do!
St. Francis Arts & Crafts Festival

St. Francis Episcopal Church
15th Annual St. Francis Episcopal Church Arts & Crafts Festival featuring over 50 local and regional artists, the Annual St. Francis Arts & Crafts Festival is a “must see” and ya’ll have an opportunity to do just that on Saturday, April 29 from 9am-4pm. In addition to all the artwork and crafts for sale, you’’ also want to stack up on a delicious variety of fresh baked goods, soups, homemade gumbo, pickles and Wimberly Hory’s Famous Chicken Salad Sandwhiches! Gumbo Cookoff –
Now in its seventh year, the annual Dauphin Island Gumbo Festival brings chefs and restaurateurs from throughout Coastal Alabama to this lovely island for a Gulf seafood feast. Bring the whole family and sample some of the finest gumbos you’ll ever taste.
All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the new Town Basketball courts and other kid’s activities around the island.
Teams will be grouped together at the two locations- Fins Bar (across from the Holiday Isle near the public beach) and the Isle Dauphine (The Country Club).
Each area will have its own live music, children’s activities, and facilities.
This year’s event will coincide with the St. Francis Church Arts and Crafts Fair.
